We have a name. We have a game in development. We have a website. And now we have a place to tell you about all of it.
Random Art Attack is a new independent video game studio. This is our first public post. Welcome.
Why a Studio?
The honest answer: because making games alone is great, but making games as a studio — with intent, with identity, with a name behind the work — changes things. It raises the stakes in a way that's energizing rather than overwhelming. It means committing publicly to the thing you're building.
We started Random Art Attack because we had a game worth building and we wanted to build it properly. Not as a side project. Not as something to release quietly and move on from. A real game, from a real studio, with a real plan to get it in front of the right players.
What Are We Making?
Our first game is Space Dance Melee 2026. It's a frenetic action roguelite set in a cosmic arena. You pick up powerups that stack. You spend at a shop between waves. You try to survive as the chaos escalates.
It's the kind of game where, after a run, you immediately want to start another one because you saw a combination you didn't get to try. Where every death teaches you something. Where hitting a new powerup synergy feels genuinely exciting.
We'll have a proper announcement for the game soon. In the meantime, you can already check out the game page and see what we've described so far.
What Comes Next
We'll be posting devlogs regularly — real ones, with actual detail about how we're designing and building things. Not just "exciting news is coming!" posts, but the kind of content that's actually useful if you're interested in game design and development.
We'll also be on social media, though we'd rather earn your follow with devlog quality content than just noise.
Thanks for being here. This is the start of something we've been working toward for a long time. We're glad you're here for it.
